Born in 1976 in Worms, Germany, Ergin Aydın completed his primary education in Germany. Then, he graduated from the İstanbul Marmara University, German Language and Literature Faculty in 1998.

Starting his career in the textile industry in 1996 at Urba Dış Ticaret which was one of the integrated companies of the time, Aydın later worked for 6 years at the Alka İstanbul Office, which was the Sourcing Office of the German based Arcandor group (Karstadt /Quelle /Neckermann ) .

Ergin Aydın, who started working at Blok Tekstil as a General Manager in 2005, accepted the offer of the company’s owner to join the company as a partner of Blok Moda Dış Ticaret by end of 2010.

Ergin Aydın, who has been a partner of the company since 2011, has also become a partner of Prosoft VR Company as of 2017 and has made significant progress on global level referring digitalization processes in the textile industry. Also he created the Prosoft VR Academy, where he did a digital revolution in the textile sector and start a Re-education of students, employees to have an insane for the unemployment problem in the country. Since 2022 January, he is co founder of Meta X Create where is the leader of metaverse und AI technologies.

In addition to being the Chairman of the TİHCAD Association, Ergin Aydın was also selected April 2021 as member of the 23.board of the Turkish Clothing Manufacturers’ Association and to the Technology and Qualified Works Study Group of Euratex as of October 2020 and is representing Turkey in the field of international textile in this organization.
