Voting Terms

  1. Votes can only be cast via WhatsApp or LinkedIn. Votes cannot be cast by email.
  2. Voting via WhatsApp: the voter messages the WORLDEF WhatsApp line, shares the link of the contestant they want to vote for, and confirms with "Yes".
  3. Voting via LinkedIn: the voter signs in with their LinkedIn account and casts their vote.
  4. Each account may vote for up to 5 different contestants in each competition. Only 1 vote may be given to the same contestant. WhatsApp and LinkedIn accounts count as separate accounts.
  5. The voter's first and last name are taken from their WhatsApp profile name or LinkedIn profile.
  6. Contestants may vote for themselves.
  7. No manipulation: collecting votes through fake accounts, bots, bulk accounts, buying votes, automation or similar means is prohibited. WORLDEF reserves the right to review and delete suspicious votes and to warn or disqualify the contestant concerned. Deleted votes are shown as a count in the public history.
  8. Voting results are published live on the Platform.
  9. By voting, you confirm that you have read the Privacy Notice and accept that your WhatsApp / LinkedIn profile name is processed together with your vote record.
