2. Purposes of Processing
- Receiving, assessing and concluding competition applications
- Carrying out the AI-assisted preliminary assessment
- Running the vote, securing votes and detecting manipulation
- Sending notifications to contestants and voters
- Publishing competition results and approved contestant profiles
- Showing visitors the competition relevant to their country
- Meeting legal obligations
3. Legal Grounds
- Establishment and performance of a contract (KVKK art. 5/2-c): the application and voting process
- Legitimate interest (art. 5/2-f): vote security, manipulation detection, system security

- Explicit consent (art. 5/1): public publication of approved contestant information and transfer abroad
4. Transfers (Including Abroad)
Personal data may be transferred to the following service providers. Some of their servers are located abroad:

5. Retention
Personal data is kept for as long as required by the purpose of processing and by the periods set out in applicable law; at the end of that period it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
- Votes of a contestant who withdraws are deleted at the time of withdrawal; only the total number is kept as a statistic.
6. Automated Decision-Making
Applications go through an AI-assisted preliminary assessment. This assessment does not produce any result on its own; the final decision is made by people. If you believe an automated analysis has led to a result against you, you may object.
7. Your Rights (KVKK art. 11)
You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information, to request correction or deletion, to object, and to claim compensation for damages. You can send your requests to [email protected].
